Paint for Lea - Feb. 19th 3-6pm

Six-year-old Lea Doran of Hamden was diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma, or DPIG, an aggressive brain tumor, in August of 2017. While there is no known cure, Lea is currently enrolled in a clinical trial at the Dana Farber Institute in Boston. Please join us at this family-friendly event as we use our hands and our hearts to support Lea and her family as they travel the uncertain road that lies ahead.

You can learn more about Lea and her family at:

Choose an owl, (Lea’s favorite animal) to paint. Once painted, your owl will be fired in the kiln and available to take home in a week. For each piece painted, $15 will go directly to Lea’s family to help with medical expenses and related needs (i.e. travel).

Cost: $20/painter with choice of any item in the studio priced $15 or less.

Reservations are not required, but owl figurines may run out. You can reserve your owl in advance by emailing: or through our online booking using the button below.

Another way to participate is to help us spread the word. Share this and download the Paint for Lea flyer and put it up in your local community.
